Hi there fellow couchsurfer, I’m a 27 year old solo-traveler (from the Netherlands) who spends most of his time abroad. I’m a very creative person and do a bunch of things around social media like video-editing and photography to sustain my living. 4 years ago I betted on myself and bought a plane ticket to Argentina and spent about 2.5 in South-America in total, all while creating content on my laptop. Fast forward to now, and I am still happily traveling all around the world and making experiences I’ll never forget.

I only recently decided to create a couchsurfing profile, but I wish I did earlier. Currently I’m on a roadtrip through Europe, so I felt like this was the perfect platform to make new friends. Looking at the platform, I don’t think couchsurfing should be a transactional thing, it’s about connecting people all around the world who want to show kindness and hospitality, even though the world can be so cruel. I would absolutely love to return the favour as soon as I start settling down and help other travelers who are traveling around like I am now.

My hobbies are traveling (obviously), photography, creating content, cooking and sports! In my free time I like doing calisthenics and going to the gym, but I also love playing/watching/talking football, tennis and darts.

Random facts: I'm very passionate about geography and coffee. I lived in Argentina for 2 years. I make killer lasagna and burgers!

Personality-wise, I see myself as a very social and easy-going person who is passionate about his own interests and loves to share a good drink and some tasty food with others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on a roadtrip through Europe with my car, and I am looking to make new connections in Europe. I'm going from place to place quite fast, so this is the perfect opportunity to make new friends by crashing at their place and having a good time together.

Music, Movies, and Books

At home I like listening to basically everything, rock, indie, (oldschool) hip-hop, Brazilian music and much more.
When I go out I'm into electronic music such as techno + drum and bass (dnb).

My favourite movie of all time is Intouchables and TV-series is Breaking Bad (I could talk for hours about this show).

I like reading books about personal development and psychology. I bring my e-reader everywhere.

I traveled to South-America on my own without knowing anybody and speaking zero Spanish.
