About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see, feel, know, eat & meet all of Europe!
ABOUT ME
Educate, meditate, liberate. I most recently traveled from a Guatemala to Argentina while working on an alternative travel website (fingers crossed). Now I am putting my teaching experience to work to allow me to spend at least a year based in Spain. Please don't be put off by my lack of references- this is my second trip using CS (although our household had couchsurfers from Holland, Turkey and Germany stay with us all the time in college!) Gimme a chance, yeah? I'd love to message if you have further questions (:
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think that CS is amazing because it creates a space where the most beautiful parts of traveling converge:
Friendship
Community
Trust
Sharing
The Unknown
Since age 16 I have been traveling throughout multiple countries on my own- my BEST experiences ever have been with people I met on barstools, in streets, in taxis, or over mutual confusion with a map. I don't feel the need to be "protected, guided, or directed" by a hotel or tourism service, but rather relish the opportunity to meet likeminded humans who want to give back to this big beautiful world and the people in it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
At 23, I sold and/or gave away everything that I owned in order to live minimally and get to know the world with just a backpack. I have not stopped moving since, and the world has repaid me for the trust I put it in it!
Teach, Learn, Share
An excited host, local knowledge, a private room and bathroom, and bad ass breweries (:
What I Can Share with Hosts
A great attitude, genuine interest in every new place I visit, a positive emotional & spiritual interruption in the pattern of daily life (: I'd also be happy to practice any of the languages I know with anyone who is interested! Plus, I love to cook if you aren't too picky.
