ABOUT ME

Let's start with the obvious- I love to travel, but don't we all? I have always thought myself an Asia-bound person but recently I've opened my mind to Europe.

I enjoy good vegetarian meals- I'm learning to eat new things and am loving it.

I also really enjoy looking at maps, listening to good music, meditating, spending time with good friends and family, resting, planning, eating, and planning to eat.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in a monastery in Taiwan for a solid month without ever leaving the grounds or my fellow teachers. During the latter part of the month we meditated for a week straight (and weren't allowed to speak), then I was released into the world again and couldn't snap out of it. I stayed two nights in another monastery prior to flying back to the US refusing to let go of what I just experienced, and then came back to the US only to go to a concert 7 hours after arrival- for at least 10 hours of rocking out (haha).

Also, on a more serious note I lived among the rice terraces in Banaue for almost a week
