About Me

I am french and I currently live in Barcelona since 3 years. I am partly disabled and in (manual) wheelchair years since a serious accident in 2001. After an amazing travel in USA in 2009, I have made several trips in various continents. I am passionate by traveling and I am just beginning to travel alone since 2015.
I created a web site (www.accesstrip.org) in 2014 which help people with reduced mobility to travel. For a long time, I've been a big fan of groove music (soul, hip-hop, funk...), and I am participating with friends to a french radio programe dedicated to this music. I make a lot of sports to reeducate myself (walking, bodybuilding, swimming). I'm also a fan of street art and graffiti.
I like have experience, enjoy the life - having fun, the food, party....

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After . And each time I travel, I go in the house of someone of my relationship and for me, when it's possible, traveling like this is better than sleeping in hostel, so.... I am communicative, open-minded, positive-thinking, social and I love to meet new people and I like meet people from others culture. I think this page is a great think.
Due to my situation, I also require help of people when I travel. In the day life, in the streets, in the subway, in the shop, to climb stairs, to enter anywhere...
I therefore want to give back to people what I received through this page, by helping them during their travel and I have enjoyed of an amazing CS experience in Quebec & Chicago so I open the doors of my house in Barcelona.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I came back to life...

I did a lot of things during my traveling (traveling in the Cordillera of the Andes, driving in the desert of Argentina while normally I can't drive a car, flying in a helicopter in NY and Grand Canyon, walking in a favela, go alone in india...). A lot of stories

I came alone with my bag in Barcelona to start a new life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want take - I want give
I want to share my project and spread the idea that disabled people can travel and enjoy life as much as non-disabled, and as much as I do. Handicap should not stop, life continues and it is precious. Traveling is a new breath of fresh air in a complex disabled life. I want to give my energy to other people in the dark, to share my experience and show how to stay positive in hard times.
