I'm living in London as a student now. Can't really accept guests due to my living situation, but hoping to find some new friends/travel buddies on my various adventures throughout Europe. I promise I'll actually host people when I'm living somewhere more permanently and not in a tiny student accommodation.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed when I first moved to Shanghai, which was awesome. I love to meet new people and see cities from an insider's perspective!

Interests

Traveling, researching things, singing, hiking, going on adventures, watching terrible movies and making fun of them, learning new languages, reading, writing, cooking, learning to sing Disney songs in different languages, reading about emergency medicine so I can yell at Grey's Anatomy

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Literally every genre. Give me a genre and I'll tell you at least one song or artist that I like. Right now I'm pretty into hipster-y folk-y stuff like Fleet Foxes, though.

Movies: Disney movies, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Even-numbered Star Trek movies (except for the 12th one and I like the 11th one a lot), My Neighbor Totoro, Animal House, Mommie Dearest, Love Actually, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Moulin Rouge...

Books: Pride and Prejudice, Sex With Kings, A Thousand Splendid Suns, Opium Nation, Royal Babylon, Talking to the Enemy: Faith, Brotherhood, and the (un)Making of Terrorists, The Golden Compass, A Song of Ice and Fire, Good Omens, anything by Sarah Vowell, this big giant EMT study guide I really like reading...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seen: the Kremlin Grand Palace. Absolutely breathtaking.

Done: Hiked Tiger Leaping Gorge in Yunnan Province. A very rainy and sweaty trek, but all worth it when I was 10 feet away from some deadly rapids of the Upper Yangzi.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Adventures, cooking (do you like Italian or Chinese food? Because I will make you a feast if you so wish), language practice of all sorts, good stories, and flexibility
