Hi, my Name is Jochem I'm 18 years old and come from the Netherlands. Last year I graduated for my high general education and took a gap year. A year where everything is possible without any rules. This year I would like to see a lot of countries and nice places on this beautiful earth.

Yeah, from the Netherlands... The country of the rain and the cold weather. So I decided to go to Gran Canaria. I bought a plane ticket to this awesome island. I would like to stay here for 5-6 weeks to discover this small place on earth.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I'm all alone on Gran Canaria and don't know anybody on this Island. I would like to meet new people for drinking a beer together and share stories.

I love music! The old ones are the best. Rolling Stones, Beatles, Queen, Tina Turner and so on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It is not the only amazing thing i've done but this one is defiantly in my top 3.
Summer 2016 I went to a road-trip across Norway. Norway is the most impressive and beautiful country I've ever seen. The mountains the lake's and the people who live over there, It was amazing!
