关于我
Back in Belgium I studied social-cultural work, but I couldn't find a job because there is a lot of budget cutting going on in the social and cultural sector right now. So I worked full-time in a restaurant for one year, the same place I worked for 6 years when I was studying.
I saved some money and the goal is to spend it all on travelling and try to last as long as possible!
I'm not much of a tablejumper, trying to stay away from the spotlights.
Love nature! And music. Animals.
Working hard, then relaxing hard.
Simple life attracts me.
我为什么加入 Couchsurfing
I have couchsurfed before, not through this website but by meeting other travellers and staying at their home. I stayed with hosts in Budapest and Belgrade. I think one of the main advantages of couchsurfing is that local hosts can take you to places that you wouldn't know about when staying at a hostel.
Most hosts I think are travellers, or used to be travellers so you can hear a lot of stories and travel tips when couchsurfing.
It is a great way to learn about local customs and culture.

音乐、电影和书籍
Music:
I like a lot of genres except from Hip hop/rap/R&b
I especially like Sludge/doom metal - Desert/stoner rock
60's & 70's prog rock/psychedelic rock
80's new wave - new romantic - minimal synthrock
some '70's and 80's disco
When I hit the bars I'd rather go to the more low-profile/underground places
(I never wore a suit/tuxedo in my life and I'm proud of that!)
Preferred music for dancing:
Jump up/techstep d 'nb, minimal house, deep house
And I love to learn to know other styles and genres!
Movies:
When I go to the cinema I only go for (mostly) European indie/arthouse movies
Sometimes I watch cheap slasher/horror flicks
Tried to get in film studies at the academy. Didn't work out, failed the entry exam. Still love films though.
Books:
I mostly read biographies or other non fiction. Sometimes I read other stuff when someone recommends me. I must admit though I love reading it's been a while since I read a book.
我做过的一件不可思议的事情
I love to share all the amazing things I've seen and done while we get to know each other ;)
Maybe bungeejumping while having vertigo with a drunk half asleep Bulgarian 'professional' (he didn't even see the container ship coming under the bridge we had to jump from)
It's not all that impressive since I only made a few small travels so far.
I'm working on that!
教,学,和分享
I have a very broad spectrum of interests, I can talk about a lot, but I'm not very specialized in certain subjects.
I am especially interested in politics, history, arts, philosophy and ecology.
I have some minor experience with photography, scuba diving, permaculture design(I recently obtained a PDC).
I was raised with computers and I know about some basic computer troubleshooting, web design (however, mostly the HTML-era), graphic design and other IT-stuff.
I don't know anything about smartphones and apps since I never had one (and trying to keep it that way!).
我可以与沙发主分享些什么
I'd be happy to help around with all kinds of household and other chores.
And off course I can share my experiences and knowledge I mentioned above.
