ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Jocelyn! I am a singer and a yoga/music teacher. I love traveling, meeting new people, and adventures. I am an avid reader, dog lover, and outdoors enthusiast. I also love Portland, and showing people around this fabulous city.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe there is too much separation in the world. We have become separated from each other, from the earth, and in some ways from ourselves. But we all came from the same place and we are all going back there eventually. No matter where you believe "there" is, we are all basically the same. We are all beautiful, and worthy of love, respect, and compassion.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I spent several weeks couch surfing in British Columbia while participating in productions of Le nozze di Figaro, and Don Giovanni.

I like most good music and some bad music. I play piano, flute, guitar, ukulele, and celtic harp. I have a lot of favorite movies and books.

I lived in a tent at the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Farm when I was doing my certification.

I love to do all these things! I spend many hours a week teaching music lessons to children (and adults), and I am always looking for people who can teach me new things.
