ABOUT ME

After 3 and half years in the lively city of Bristol I have just moved to "historic Warwick" and while it's very different, it's also very beautiful!
I enjoy reading, photography and sewing, just started making my own clothes.
I also love to cook, and bake, and especially to eat.

Honesty is the best policy :)
Be open and honest about your expectations, and be open and honest about other peoples. It generally makes life (and couchsurfing!) much better for everyone.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've dabbled in hosting and surfing - I've surfed in the UK, Denmark and Sweden and have hosted from UK, Ireland, Sweden, Poland, South Africa, New Zealand, USA, Argentina.
So far I've had a really great time with CS and met some amazingly interesting and friendly people, so I just want to keep meeting more!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I actually learned about CouchSurf when I was out with my friend and we met a young girl from Singapore who wasn't getting along with her arranged host, and we ended up hosting her instead! A bit unorthodox, but now I have made some great friends, so I'm really glad we met her!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I like most kinds of films that aren't stupid or star stupid people (Ben Stiller I'm looking at you!).
Music wise I enjoy a bit of all sorts, at the moment I love First Aid Kit, The Vaccines, The Cat Empire, Haim, Chvrches, Sleigh Bells, Regina Spector, Caro Emerald.
My favourite books are The Handmaids Tale, The Bell Jar, and the Stieg Larsson trilogy.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I had the amazing opportunity of working at the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics and it was great to be right at the heart of it!

For years I dreamt of going to Stonehenge for the summer solstice, and I finally went in 2011. Sadly, it's now a place for a load of kids to stay up all night and get drunk rather than the spiritual experience I had hoped for, but if the kiddies ever get bored and stop going would someone please let me know? :)

I love photography so I try to find good places to take photos, which I'll happily share.
I also love to cook and can cook for, teach to cook, and give tried and tested recipes to travelling friends.
I enjoy doing new things with couch surfers, the best yet was salsa lessons!
