ABOUT

I'm living full time in a self-built campervan, and having used couchsurfing in the usual way a decade ago, I thought I'd rejoin and see how it can work for me to meet new people in the places I visit. I don't need a couch as I've brought my own bed, but I occasionally need a tank of water and a place to charge the leisure battery when the sun stops shining, so always welcome offers for either 😊

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Back in the 2010s I regularly hosted and surfed for a few years - I've surfed in the UK, Denmark and Sweden and have hosted from UK, Ireland, Sweden, Poland, South Africa, New Zealand, USA, Argentina.

Nowadays I'm moving around the country a lot and often show up to a place without knowing the place or the people, hoping this might be a fun way to make some connections?

Interests

I have a YouTube channel about my travels and lifestyle, and I love drawing and painting, mostly portraits but I've done a few birds recently. I don't do enough dancing, and actively wish a change this!

Teach, Learn, Share

I've taken on many hobbies over the years, but these days I'm pretty handy - having built my van I've learnt carpentry, plumbing, 12v electrics, and how to use most power tools.

I'd love to learn how to sing better, and I have a ukulele that definitely needs practice.
