About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Learn, Laugh, Love.
ABOUT ME
I'm a Suzuki Violin and Early Childhood Educator. I'm constantly moving and doing new things, but also enjoy a relaxed lifestyle. We have a young son. I love watching him grow and learn. It is super important for us to both show him different cultures around the world and for him to meet interesting people.
PHILOSOPHY
My husband and I feel passionately about living life fully. The day we stop learning will hopefully be my last. It's so important to travel with our children and are looking forward to exploring the world with our son Connor.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We did quite a bit of couchsurfing while traveling in Japan and now we're excited to start hosting people in beautiful Eugene, OR.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We stayed with several families while traveling in Japan. Just starting to host travelers in our home!
Interests
I love to make things. I'm a prolific knitter, spinner, gardener, and seamstress. My husband and I are always conducting food experiments. Especially when it comes to fermentation. We homebrew, make cheese, make liquors and are always trying new recipes in the kitchen.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The moment my son was born. The look on my husband's face as we said our vows. Watching the sun set while sailing in the Whitsunday Islands. Performing a play for the Fringe festival in Scotland.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a knitter, spinner, seamstress, gardner and musician. My husband is an amazing cook, a brewer, a copywriter and an author. Sharing meals with amazing people is very important to us.
