I am a soon-to-be 30 year old gal seeking an adventure filled gap year! I am traveling with my boyfriend Greg (see pic) and we are both avid backpackers. Though Greg is a little less of a thrill-seeker than I, we both love the thrill of meeting new people and uncovering brand new places together.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are looking to experience the most local interactions we possibly can whilst traveling. Also, the obvious benefit of our saving precious little funds for extended travel is also a huge bonus! I have always found that staying with a local is 100% the best way to learn about a place. You learn, see and experience things that you would NEVER have been fortunate enough to encounter via a tour or traditional DIY backpacker / hostel arrangement.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2016, Greg and I toured through North and South India. This was the most intense, sweaty, stinky, beautiful and challenging travel we have ever done - all in the thick of an Indian summer! But, it was also by far the most rewarding and enriching experience.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am quite savvy on the computer and can assist with any Facebook, Email or admin kinds of tasks. I enjoy photography and instagram - profile: jody._.bennett and am happy to help with setting up social profiles on these platforms, will happily edit text etc.

As we travel, we will both be seeking out any small, medium or large working opportunities along the way so if you have some jobs that need doing - pick us! :)
