ABOUT ME

I love good adventures with good friends. Whether it's playing board games and drinking wine, cycling, dumpster diving, creating or recycling art/clothing/anything!, going to a show, a pub, or an interesting restaurant, or wandering the untamed corners of a new or old city, exploration and spontaneity always enhance the adventure. I love getting to know new people; sharing stories over a beer, homemade wine, or a cup of coffee is a nice place to start. I suppose I should say I enjoy beverages. I also love to cook and bake (I'm not *great*, but experimenting in the kitchen can certainly be a character-building experience, and is always super fun).

I work full time with high-risk youth, and am starting a Pre-Masters in Social Work in fall. I'm interested in advocacy work in various capacities, as well as counselling/trauma care.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed a few times in the USA, Peru & Bolivia, and have had super positive experiences. I've also just moved into a new house where my roommates host semi-regularly. It's been a lot of fun!
