I'm 20 years old, half-Fijian, half-Maori and from New Zealand.

I had a stage of my life from 6 to about 11 where a grew up in 3 different countries. Them being NZ, India and Malaysia. Lived in a high-end, central city suburb in Malaysia whilst in India we lived in a compound that borded one of the largest urban slums in the world. Now living in small town in Lower Hutt City, New Zealand. I've lived in some pretty random spots throughout my life, all of them being polar opposites from one another, and have been incredibly lucky to do so.

Those opened my eyes to the world and since I haven't travelled since my family and I moved back to NZ, I'm keen to get back out there.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Mainly for two reasons. The first being I'd like to save as much money on accommodation as possible.

The second being I'd like to meet locals or people that are really familiar with wherever it is I'm travelling too. Not only just so they can direct where is good to go but also just to get to know the place beyond what tourists and tv shows know.
