Born and raised in Japan with an Australian father and a Japanese mother. Professional interpreter who has travelled around the world 5 times, working with the Peace Boat.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My passion is to connect with people around the world so couchsurfing is perfect for me!
Instead of staying at hostel whilst travelling, I would like to stay with the locals to have a memorable experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have worked as an interpreter in more than 60 different countries! Have interpreted for atomic bomb survivors in more than 20 countries to convey the messages of their horrifying experience to the world. The organisation I interpreted for works closely with ICAN (International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons) won the nobel peace prize this year!
