About Me

Recent college graduate looking to explore the world and make new friends along the way. My dream is to visit as many countries as I can and to see as much of the world as possible. I studied international relations in college and have a passion for language, cuisine, and all things culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think this is a great opportunity to meet other world travelers and to create good international connections. I am always happy to host when I am in country.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a huge film buff and have studied cinema for much of my life. I would love to talk about or watch a movie just about anytime. Same goes for television and I would love to see some more series that aren’t American.

I read a lot of nonfiction, especially historical and existential texts. I have always enjoyed fictional stories and lately I have really liked Japanese manga especially One Piece, and Berserk. Always welcome any good book recommendations.

I am not musically talented but I love listening to music and am also very interested in discovering new musicians. My favorite genres are R&B, reggaeton, and pop but I enjoy all kinds of music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most enriching experience of my life was probably a year of study in Delhi, India when I was 16 years old. I had always loved travel and culture but that year really affirmed to me my desire to see, and study the world. It strengthened my international network of friends greatly, and enhanced my loves of cuisine, film, and language.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have experience as an English teacher, and am fluent in French if you have any interest in learning or practicing that.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good conversation about a variety of topics especially if you are interested in travel, film, or history.

A positive, friendly face who will keep their space clean and help with anything around the house.

Will definitely offer to buy dinner one night and love all kinds of food.
