About Me

I studied Biology and Anthropology in college, and I work at a plant nursery and garden center. I am interested in ethnobotany, permaculture; I completed an internship in Ecuador last year where I learned about tropical food production and received a permaculture design certification, as well as doing farm work and creating a medicinal plant guide for the area.

For the past few years I have been living in Richmond, Virginia working at a garden center, as a teaching assistant, and at a restaurant. I love to play music, I enjoy gardening and making art and I want to travel and learn as much as I can before I pursue graduate school in the future.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am traveling through Europe right now and will be making a lot of stops in Spain and France. I'm hoping to learn as much as possible along the way, and make connections with kindred spirits!
