About Me
Hello,
My name is Joe Saldana from sunny California! I am a very laid back kind of person who loves to meet new people, and see as much of the world as possible....within a reasonable price of course. haha I graduated from college (a.k.a. Uni) in 2012, and worked for a year before making the decision to pack my bags, and see what the rest of the world has to offer!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To be completely honest, I'm couchsurfing in order to save money for more adventures in my life. haha But also to meet some of the locals, and learn about the culture of the country I am visiting in more depth.
Interests
Literally anything outdoors. To name a few of my hobbies: rugby, hiking, beach, surfing, and biking. Also, having some beers with friends, and meeting new people. I have caught the travel bug, so I hope to see as much of the world as possible.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a pretty open minded individual, so I don't really have a favorite genre of anything.....I guess, in a sense I'm a fan of all genres. If it sounds, or looks appealing to me, chances are I will give it go.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The greatest experience so far in my life would be diving the Great Barrier Reef....to be honest, I never would have thought that I would get the chance to do that in my lifetime.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach- about the negative, and positive events that I have encountered on my travels.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a very social being who likes to meet new people from all walks of life, and hear their stories. I am a very organized individual who makes sure everything is kept nice, and neat. I also have some cooking skills, so you are guaranteed to get a nice home cooked meal!
