Hey, I'm Joe :). My girlfriend Amie and I worked for Cadbury/Milka chocolate in Australia. We made the huge decision to both quit our jobs, sell all our stuff and travel the world together. We've used AirBnb to make a lot of new friends on the road. And Tolga (our new mate from AirBnb in Olympos, Turkey) recently told us about his awesome experiences with Couchsurfing. So here we are! We want to meet local people, buy them a beer or 2 and maybe even share a meal. We're also more than happy to do our own thing. We love exploring new places, we love fresh and local foods, and we love the ocean (surfing, scuba diving, freediving, and we want to learn to kitesurf).
