I am travelling the world with my long term girlfriend, Hazel. We are a fun easy going couple who appreciate that the best way to get to know a new place is through the local people. We love meeting new people and exploring new cultures.

Our favourite way to explore new places is to spend the day walking around and getting lost, finding unique experiences. We also love trying the different local dishes (despite being vegetarians!).

I often get involved with fishing anywhere I can with my travel sized rod, which is a fun way to meet locals!

We have loved staying in homestays around the world and learning more about the different cultures in each place. After speaking to many other travellers we have decided to get involved with couch surfing. We think the best way to understand and fully appreciate a new place is through interacting with local people. We love meeting new people and would love to be shown hidden gems in new places that only locals would know about, seeing the real place rather than only the touristic parts!
