Overview
About Me
A human being living in Manchester, Joe likes music, film, eating, sleeping and writing in the third person. He is currently travelling through time at a rate of one hour per hour (1h/h). This is something he's done consistently for most, if not all, of his life. Here's the story so far:
PAST
Joe started off as a small boy with a peanut allergy, later becoming an adult without one (and spending many hours in between learning how to clap with one hand).
PRESENT
Joe makes websites for a living but is constantly plagued by an overwhelming desire to maybe have a little think about whether or not that's something he wants to do forever. This is important for the next section.
FUTURE
However much it might align with his interests, Joe understands that working in either the music or film industry and making money are mutually exclusive, so he has some decisions to make. He also wants to stop writing in the third person.

Music, Movies, and Books
My three most recent reads are Ayoade on Ayoade: a Cinematic Odyssey, Flatland and The Double.
A few of my recently-watched TV shows are Hannibal, Louie, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Rick and Morty, Fargo, Better Call Saul and Fortitude.
Some examples of music I've been listening to are Sigur Rós, Tim Hecker, The Tallest Man On Earth, Adult Jazz, Ben Frost, Sufjan Stevens, Nils Frahm, Björk, Julianna Barwick, David Lang, Arvo Pärt, Wild Beasts, The Antlers, The National and Leonard Cohen.
I saw Ex Machina and Calvary recently, which were both pretty good. Other than that, I have a soft spot for the Coen brothers, Linklater's Before Sunrise etc., Iñárrutu's Amores Perros etc., Short Term 12, The Master, Christopher Nolan and Wes Anderson.
Oh, and I love food.
