COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed many a lonesome couch, and deposited much change therein. I have had two great official couchsurfing experiences, and the cultural exchange was awesome.

I'm a creative, industrious, and studious sort, and thrive on good conversation. I enjoy hiking, kayaking, exploring, dancing, and all sorts of fermented beverages.

Movies: From action thrillers to tear jerkers, I get way too absorbed in movies.

Books: Nietzsche and Plutarch are the only authors I read for pleasure these days.

I once met a dog that began lactating and nursed an orphaned kitten. Is compassion a genetic trait? I've lived in a tree, random nooks and on beaches. I am alive, and that's pretty amazing.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

Trancendence is guaranteed for everyone. Enlightenment, not so much.

How improbable is life, and what a luxury reflection is. Everything is taken for granted simply as a matter of economy, but when you consider the odds, it's pretty miraculous.

Concentrate on opportunity cost - What are you not doing by doing the thing you are doing? If you decide to do something, do it all the way.
