ABOUT ME

God what is there to say about me right now... I work too much, and I'm no fun. just kidding, about the second one. I used to take pleasure from hard work and not just for the greater enjoyment it lent relaxation, now I would just like to go live and the woods grow food and pretend everything is good in the world.

Life is lived in the now, and the consideration of the why is an exercise of futility-- I live my life because I have not died yet. As such I always intend to use of the life that I have remaining to do as much and see as much as I can! Lets do some of it together!

Gimme some of that Tolkien any day, also very intrigued by Heideggers thoughts on Being (Sein und Zeit).
Films which I haven't forgotten easily, Die Fetten Jahren Sind Vorbei, Soul Kitchen, Der Kabinett Des Doktor Caligari, Jeder Feur Sich und Gott Gegen Alles, Funny Games, Jeaux d'enfants. Wow I kindof hadn't realized how much I prefer German film to Hollywood/
Music; The Mountain Goats and the National get me by in hard times, Tom Waits is a spiritual guide, Holy Sons asks the right questions but I can't deal, Cro wann ich will mich besauft werden, Sido wann ich kiffe viel, J Prine and T Petty when I'm feeling reflective and other shit the rest of the time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Survived to this day. Living blows my mind and scares the shit out of me so I guess it must be amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am an outdoorsman, I can teach a lot about of survival, land navigation, some food/plant identification, water acquisition, preservation, proper use/outdoor ethics and other outdoors skills. I love to learn and discuss most subjects and at present I am very interested in learning more about: (what you like to talk about)
