ABOUT ME

Hello! I'm Joe, it's lovely to meet you!

I love travel and adventure, and will often throw myself into expeditions on the spur of the moment. In January 2010 I quit my run-of-the-mill office job and left the UK with no plans or directions home. I ended up hitch hiking and volunteering across France, Italy and Spain, discovering the wonderful world of couch surfing, undertaking a 1000 km cycle ride on a bike given to me by a group of travellers running a bar in an isolated Pyrenean hamlet, struggling to sleep under the midnight sun on my first ever CS experience, working on a fishing boat in the Arctic Circle and as a shepherd in some of the most beautiful and uninhabited land imaginable.
