I'm about to graduate with a physics degree and am taking some (much needed) time out in Australia + NZ before beginning a PhD back in the UK in Autumn.

I'm open minded; i'm definitely the outdoorsy type and am always up for a laugh. I grew up in rural northern England and have spent a significant portion of the last few years with my face buried in a textbook. I am itching to see some new places and meet some new people!

I'm looking for the comfiest couches in Melbourne and the surrounding areas (Torquay, Geelong, Dandenong and maybe further afield) for the latter half of June. I'd really appreciate some local knowledge of the area. I'm visiting my brother in Melbourne before flying up to
Brisbane at the start of July.

I won't be able to accommodate couchsurfers until ~October in York and then from ~April 2016 in Oxford but i'm looking forward to meeting exciting new people and showing them the best bits of the cities I love.
