ABOUT ME

I really enjoy traveling and meeting people from all walks of life. I grew up in NE London before studying Physics and Philosophy at Leeds University. I'm into all kinds of good music, especially music that is played very loud. My political beliefs flutter around the socialist/anarchist border line, but don't worry im also an extremely peaceful guy i definitely wont smash any of you possessions up or anything. I really enjoy crazy nights out with good open minded people that end up in totally random and unexpected places, but am also partial to a night in playing risk.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined couch surfing while spending a year studying in Montreal and surfed my way round new york. Since moving back to Leeds, i have hosted a number of people and had a great experience with all of them. Unfortunately because i'm in my final year of studies i cant always take people out or have epic adventures but people are always welcome to stay and if timing permits i definitely enjoy taking people out and showing them some of the cool stuff to do in leeds

lots and lots but a taster would have to be Movies: any monty python, most luc besson films, definitely most of stanly kubricks, david lynch .... Music: Dylan, lou reed, the clash, rolling stones, bloc party, radiohead, burning spear, lee scratch perry, mad professor, massive attack, portishead, tricky, roots manuva, mr scruff, aphex twin, irration steppas, aba shant i soundsyteem...... Books: almost anything by Ian Banks, Lord of the rings, life of pi, hemmingway, his dark matrials by pullman, have to admit a lot of sci fi asimov and clark, phillip k dick ...

I find most things in life amazing in their own ways but i think deserted machu pichu in Peru is up there. sunrise over Manhattan from Brooklyn bridge after a long night of dancing too.
