About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live imaginatively, to stretch my comfort zone, to play music every day, to love and be loved, and to remain authentic.

ABOUT ME

Born outside of Portland, Oregon, USA and have lived in Alaska for several years. Most of my work has been in social services, homelessness services, public health, and mentoring.

But that's just the boring stuff. I play music, juggle, knit, sing, get lost all the time, hike, cycle, run around on mountains, kayak with orcas, dance like an idiot, you know...all that sort of stuff.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is simple. Live curiously and openly, go to cool places, see cool stuff, and hang out with interesting

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies--pretty much anything that will make me think.

Music--pretty much anything that feels right.

Salman Rushdie, David Foster Wallace, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Milan Kundera, Orson Scott Card, Chuck Palahniuk, J.R.R. Tolkein, J.K. Rowling, Michael Chabon, Many, Many more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing mountains with bears and eagles and whale watching from the top. Alaska is a great place to be in a constant state of somewhere between amazed and jaw-hitting-the-ground.

Teach, Learn, Share

A Great Need by Hafiz

Out
Of a great need
We are all holding hands
And climbing.
Not loving is a letting go.
Listen,
The terrain around here
Is
Far too
Dangerous
For
That.

What I Can Share with Hosts

With hosts, I can share stories and music. I am very open to new perspectives and cultures unknown. I love meeting new people without expectations. Who knows what each of us will bring to the table?
