COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Dipped my toe into couchsurfing. Enjoyed it. Plan to do some more.

Interesses

Games and stories. Stories and games. Be they digital or analog. I enjoy the social nature of playing games together and making friends, as well as the complexity of stories in different mediums. I will happily invest time in a good book, a thought-provoking film or an engaging TV series. And I enjoy interpreting, discussing and just plain geeking out over the minutae and details of any well-told story and well-designed game.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

My movie list of awesome includes Ferris Bueller's Day Off, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, The Darjeeling Limited, Die Hard, The Thin Red Line, Top Secret, Grosse Pointe Blank, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang... and probably a huge swath of films I am forgetting right now.

Musically I'm a big fan of Gomez (finally got to see them live for the first time recently), OK Go, The Beatles, AC/DC, U2, Travis and The White Stripes. I've been trying to get into some Jazz recently - which I almost always enjoy when I come across it - but haven't really found my way around it yet.

As far as the written word is concerned my favourite books include The Illuminatus Trilogy, The Maltese Falcon, Ulysses, Pattern Recognition, The Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy and most everything of either Sherlock Holmes and The Continental Op.

TV shows I've enjoyed immensely include the unbeatable and mindblowingly fantastic The Wire, Generation Kill, Treme, Spaced, Arrested Development, Dr Who, Quantum Leap, Community, MillenniuM, Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek The Next Generation, Firefly, The IT Crowd, Danger Mouse, Coupling, The Office and Cowboy Bebop.
