I'm a 23 year old college graduate from New Jersey, currently living in London. I finished my degree in mechanical engineering from Northeastern University, this spring, and I'm currently working with the University's freshmen study abroad students in London. I'll be here until December, after which I plan to travel Europe for a few weeks before hopefully moving to Chicago for a new job.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While I love traveling, I'm unfortunately forced to do it on a super tight budget as a recent graduate. Through my travels, I've been lucky to trade my experiences with others everywhere I've gone, and this is always one of my favorite parts of every trip I take. Although my current living situation doesn't allow me to host guests at this time, offering accommodations is something I look forward to doing in the future so that I can continue to share my experiences with fellow travelers like me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Two summers in a row, I went on week long service-learning trips to Central America with other students from Northeastern University. We worked with an organization, Sustainable Harvest International, that promotes ethical and sustainable farming and teaches these techniques to farming families and villages that rely on these skills for financial support.

What I Can Share with Hosts

While my travel portfolio isn't this large at this point, it's something I'm trying to grow quickly. I love talking about the places I've been and hearing from others about their travel experiences, as these shared experiences are what I feel travel is all about.
