About Me

ABOUT ME

I am 33, born in New Zealand, grew up a lot in England, I left England when i was 18 and since then life has been a mixture of work travel and university. I like seeing new things, meeting people, having adventures, nature and learning new things. Right now i am living in Madrid though that could change shortly.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have used Couchsurfing sporadically over the last few years as both a host and surfer, i love travelling and meeting people and it is a great way to do both, though i often dont make the most of it due to lack of organization or use of internet.

Interests

making the most out of being alive in the 21st C. Specifically the great opportuntites i have to meet all sorts of different people, experience amazing natural environments and hopefully make some kind of positive contribution to the world. I also really love eating and cooking, food is great, i have been vegetarian for 3 years now. I try amd get myself involved in local communitu activities. I participate in a community garden among which I really enjoy.

Music, Movies, and Books

most good literature, lots of different types of music, and the occasional movie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

getting up in the morning, leaving my tent to be surrounded by millions of monarch butterflies.

Teach, Learn, Share

I usally find what i learn from people is often not what they are trying to teach me, and i assume it is the same when people learn from me. Typical spanish phrase but one i like, compartir es vivir, sharing is living

What I Can Share with Hosts

Share what i can, plenty of travellers tales, but generally i prefer to listen than speak, all depends on the dymanics. In the end what i have to share is who i am.
