ABOUT ME

I'm a proud native of Austin, TX and have lived in that area my whole life. I'm currently attending Boston University for a M.A. in psychology. I work out, play music, read, hang out with friends and family, and travel.

Personalities are tough to nail down and even harder to write about. Like most people, I'm this, that and the other. Get to know me if want to know about me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted and surfed quite a bit, though not recently. Once I'm settled in to the Boston area, I'd like to give back and open up my couch!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couch surfed in Portland, Bar Harbor, and New Hampshire and have hosted a few folks in Austin, TX.

Interesses

Traveling, experiencing people and culture at their deepest level, reading, conversation, movies, being outside, rainy days (we don't get too many in Austin), playing music.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

Books: Many, many; too many. The Piano Tuner, The Echo Maker, Crossing to Safety, Angle of Repose, India Unbound and Visits From the Goon Squad are among my favorites.

Movies: The Descendents, A Separation, Forrest Gump (so quotable), Fantasia, Vanilla Sky, The Matrix, Inglorious Bastards, Last of the Mohicans, No Strings Attached (yup, with Kutcher and Portman).

Music - Sadly, I'm not musically adventurous. I'm a more creative music player than listener. Giving this Spotify thing a try. That being said, I mostly like solid, no nonsense rock and roll. Will pretty much listen to anything though.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

Climbing up a Himalayan mountain pass to see Everest and Lhotse in the distance. I almost didn't make it up. Hitchhiking to the North Island of New Zealand alone. Motorbiking in the Himalayan region of India. All of India.

All that said, I think amazing experiences are what you make of it. They can happen anywhere at anytime.
