Hi my name is Joel (most people call me Leo) and until last year I was on my once in a lifetime bike-trip from Germany to Australia. I want to keep biking after corona and bike towards Japan, Canada, South America and eventually back to Europe. Back in the days I quite my job, sold everything I had and did this full time. Everything I own I had with me (it’s not a lot). As in now, I am back in Germany and travel locally.

I want to learn more about the earth, work in different fields and with a variety of people all around the glob. I have a BFA in furniture design and worked mostly as a graphic designer and in some smaller woodshops. I am interested in any human related work, I like writing, pottery - yes pottery not poetry (but I also enjoy poetry) - and would love to learn more about cooking.

Right now I am traveling around Europe by my self since corona basically made it impossible to tackle my big trip. My plan is to bike along the coast line of Europe, all the way to Gibraltar... If the weather let's me :)

I’d love to earn my bed and trade work/help for a place to sleep and some food. I am not picky and like to get my hands dirty... so take advantage of that.

I speak English and German fluently, a little (very little) French and try to learn Spanish right now. I am flexible and don’t mind last minute. I like to think of my self as an easy and fun person but I leave that up to you ;)

I am excited to see this beautiful planet and meet likeminded people all around the glob! I’m in for “the ride”!

Any day is a new day with new horizons - the ever changing environment is the best part about this trip besides the people I meet and the contrasting experiences! I’d do it over again - always!
