About Me

Hi! My name's Joel. I'm a 25 year old visual artist from Newcastle, UK, and i'm currently living in Bristol, UK.

I love to travel, connect with people from all over the world and enjoy new experiences. I consider myself a kind and open-minded person - i'm honest and talkative but always willing to listen to someones' story.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This is my first time on couch-surfing. I thought it would be a wonderful way to meet people while i'm travelling around Spain and Greece for the next few months.

In the near future i would love to return the favour, i think this site promotes such a valuable exchange and i'm very excited be involved :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've recently come back from South-East Asia, where i volunteered to make a fundraising film for a small school within a refugee camp on the boarder of Burma.

The whole experience was invaluable, the students were wonderful and it was a real pleasure to offer my skills to an organisation for them to continue to run their wonderful school.

A Hard-drive full of movies from all around the world, an appetite for live music, great (hopefully) conversation, tasty food (i'm really into cooking Italian) and an open mind.
