Overview
About Me
I’m a Canadian law student, trying to squeeze in as much travel as I can during this busy time in my life. My focus areas are international and human rights law as well as criminal law reform.
I love to travel, meet new people and hear their stories. I’m pretty relaxed and enjoy seeing the world at a slow pace. All of my Couchsurfing experiences have been positive so I’m excited to meet more people this way!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meeting new people and making friends around the world. I have so much to learn from others and I think Couchsurfing is a great way to do that. It’s a great way to keep my mind open to new experiences and ideas. I still keep in touch with almost everyone I’ve ‘surfed’ with!
Interests
I love hiking, jiu-jitsu, football (soccer), reading, writing, and painting.

Music, Movies, and Books
Brothers Karamazov, 100 Years of Solitude, My Name is Asher Lev and so many more. For movies, I’ll watch anything, but some personal favourites are: Drive, Cinderella Man, A Hidden Life.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2016 I cycled from Belgium to India. I almost died in the Kazakh desert, but if you want to know more about that, we’ll have to chat in person :)
I also wrote and self-published a book about the adventure!
I’ve attended friends weddings in Germany, Moldova, the U.S., and Mexico. I love a good dance party!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share stories from amazing people I’ve met all over the world. I can also share jiu jitsu techniques and entertaining conversation over a good meal or drinks.
