About Me

I'm a twenty-something guy trying to survive an artist's life in LA! Went to college for filmmaking and have recently started doing on-camera hosting for a company called CONtv that covers comic book conventions across the world. Before last year I hadn't really traveled much and I started to regret not seeing more of the world so I'm trying to travel as much as I can before turning 30! I love craft beer, comic books, and learning new recipes to cook (though I can't promise they all taste great!)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I said, I had realized that I hadn't seen much of the world in my twenty six years of living so I'm really trying to get out there; seeing the world is only half the adventure though, I really want to meet new people along the way as well and using Couchsurfing is a better way to do so rather than staying in hotels.

Interests

Craft beer, comic books, bar crawls, collecting vinyl records, going to concerts, photography, filmmaking & anything artistic really.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Pop punk/indie rock; Say Anything, Blink 182, Darwin Deez, Matt and Kim... etc

Movies: Moonrise Kingdom, The Darjeeling Limited, Fight Club, Like Crazy, Scott Pilgrim vs the World & Star Wars (minus the prequels, obviously).

TV: You're the Worst, Broad City, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones & most recently Love (that new Netflix show).

Books: Songs of Distant Earth, The Spectacular Now, any and all Star Wars novels.

Comics: Saga, The Walking Dead, East of West, Chew, Paper Girls, (anything from Image), & The Amazing Spider-Man (the only mainstream book I'll read).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After years of strictly working behind the camera in the film industry I accepted a spontaneous, last minute in-front-of-the-camera job at New York Comic-Con and made a lot of awesome friends and connections and now it's something I love doing!

What I Can Share with Hosts

A great sense of humor, an awesome palate for craft beer, a fun partner in crime for a night out on the town and a cool insight into the film industry in Los Angeles / the comic book scene!
