I have been an everyday bike rider for almost 5 years now. When I'm not working I like to cycle anywhere I can and just be outdoors in general. I was a musician for a very long time and played in many bands from Denver Colorado to Los Angeles California, but gave up on those dreams and the heavy drinking that went with it... I feel like I have no goals anymore and want to travel more. I'm a full time Chef most the time but would rather spend my life doing something besides cooking for people food 8 hours a day. I love cooking for people, but more like in a setting where it's not my job. I was born in Vancouver but moved to the US when I was four and grew up in Denver. I have lived in Los Angeles, Blaine Washington, Bellingham Washington, Fort Lauderdale, Calgary Alberta, Victoria British Columbia and now reside in Phoenix AZ. I'm ready for another move!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have read a lot of good things about CS so I'm checking it out. I want to travel more and in hoping this is the answer to making travel more interesting and affordable.

Interests

I'm a total movie snob... I refuse to watch garbage and rather stare at the wall then watch a crappy movie. I'm also a bit of a food snob, too - Don't confuse a picky eater with a food snob, I'll eat anything you put in front of me, but rather not eat hamburger helper and McDonalds or frozen pizza. I bike 20 - 30 everyday and really want to travel the world on my bike.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like All kinds of music , but prefer rock. Anything Stephen King. To many good movies to write, but, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest is one of my favorites.

You can expect a fine dinning experience if I ever stay at your home... You name it I can cook it... Not just cook it, but cook it in Superior fashion! I'm also quite the conversationalist and have many interests and have lots of experiences to share. Also a good listener. If you have some if you have a drum set we can throw down on some music.
