Overview
About Me
So much and so little to say... I'm ostensibly a human being.
I created a community-focused ridesharing site with a few friends, and we spent all our time working on serving our traveler community.
Before that I spent many years in the US Army. It was cool and an incredible series of adventures, but my happy, creative, hippie nature just couldn't let me stay in any longer :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here to share, be open, and be human! I find the only things that interest me are those centered on community and joy. Couchsurfing is definitely about community and joy, so here I am, let's be friends!
Interests
I read a lot, and write (terribly) often as well. I like adventuring around, hiking, camping, traveling. Big fan of performing arts of any and all kinds- I'm as happy in the Flogging Molly mosh pit as at the Washington Ballet.
I think about the future all the time. I'm so optimistic!

Music, Movies, and Books
I list most often to indie rock, house, classic rock, jazz, hip hop, blues, symphonic. Jeez I dunno, mostly everything.
Avid reader of fiction, less so of non-fiction but I enjoy a good Teddy Roosevelt biography every so often!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I can recite all 50 states in a quarter of a second
