About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to get to know people from all over the world as I plan to Couchsurf myself so I would like experience hosting first hand!

ABOUT ME

I'm an outgoing reliable guy that finds joy in the little things. Constantly I have this urge of travelling but there is something stopping me and I wish to find out what it is so I can just throw myself out there and explore the world. Also I'm very laidback and relaxed, not much can stress me (except airports!). When I moved to Norway it was like someone removed a veil from my head, a whole new world and life opened up for me, and that's what I really want to happen when I travel - meet alot of people share stories, cultures, personal preferences and just expanding your mind and opening yourself up for wisdom.

PHILOSOPHY

At the moment I just go by living day by day. I'm pretty spontaneous which makes life pretty interesting because you really don't know where you end up.

I just feel I want to get to know alot of people around the world. I want to learn about cultures, languages, social competence in a world where striking up a conversation at the train is frowned upon. Stop living life through your smartphones and actually live in the moment, there's no need to share everything you do all the time with people you barely know.

Be curious, adventurous and foremost be happy!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As I live together with two others it's hard for me to host, but sometimes I can get make it happen.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted one time before and I really enjoyed it. It's difficult for me to host on days other than weekends so it's usually just for a couple of days we'll be together.

Interests

I really love outdoors, I'd like to think of myself as an adventurous guy and when I get the opportunity I take it to challenge myself. But as I mentioned earlier I'm very laidback and the most common thing I do is spending time with my friends just talking and enjoying life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm into all kinds of things, unfortunately I don't really read much - but I would like to spark that interest, I'm just not sure where to begin.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The moment when I hiked up to one of the rather large mountains in Austria, just looking out over the expansive mountainsystems and realizing how small you are. It truly was a religous experience. Standing up there and really experiencing nature, the smells, the pureness and truly stunning scenery.

To contrast my incredible wilderness experience, I'd like to say that my second most amazing experience was when I went to New York and went up the Empire State Building during the day and Rockefeller Center during the night, to get a bird's eye view of Manhattan both during the day and night. The amount of things we humans can achieve together is incredible.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to think I know little about many things instead of much about few things. I don't know whether that's a good or bad thing but I usually have answers to most questions.
