About Me

CURRENT MISSION

build my own house in a remote wilderness

ABOUT ME

Hmmm...

...composer and performer, bookworm, nomadic type, aspiring gourmand...er, gourmet!, poet, percussionist, coffee-addict, eternal student, compulsive doodler, renaissance man, open-minded, absent-minded, pen-chewing, easy-going, inquisitive, friendly, daft Irishman.

PHILOSOPHY

Keep asking questions! Stay curious... Share your life with those around you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Making new friends, both on the road and at home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Having both hosted and surfed in a variety of places, I declare CS to be a truly fantastic concept! It feeds my appetite for unexpected conversations, chance encounters, and new friendships (and roughing it on random sofas!).

Interests

Music, music, MUSIC...from free improvisation to folksong to hiphop to electronica to hardcore punk to early opera...it runs in my veins! When I'm not playing some sort of instrument then I'm listening to music, recording it, writing about it, thinking about it, dreaming...you get the idea.

I also enjoy rock climbing, cycling, photography, Gaelic sports (check them out, all you non-Irish!), cooking, poetry, circus skills, painting, hiking, chess, long rambling conversations, cinema, boardgames and COFFEE
