About Me

CURRENT MISSION

we are currently hitchhiking around north america, trying to bring art, joy and wonder to the people we meet

ABOUT ME

i'm a gypsy that was tricked into living a sedentary life for many years.
i like many other people was fooled into thinking life was about having a stable job, house and be a good little worker.
that caused be to give up my wandering ways in 2007 in exchange for a steady pay check.
i really have nobody to blame but myself,i'm just lucky i woke up this past year in 2011 and realized that i did not have to live the life that people expected of me, that life was my creation and i am in control of my happiness. so i moved on to my sailboat quit my job and went sailing through the gulf islands for the summer. and here i am living my dream and no looking back.

PHILOSOPHY

live your life the way you want and treat everyone you meet as a member of your family, because when it comes down to it we are all members of one big extended family, we just may not have met yet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i just discovered i had a account on here from 2007 so i am still in the process of figuring out how i will participate in the next few years.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i have no couch surfing experience but have hosted many random travelers i have met over the years

Interests

i have so many interests i doubt i can fit them in a tiny little box!
some include gold prospecting, diy projects of all types, foraging, plant medicine, sailing, hiking, sleeping under the stars, spirituality, esoteric knowledge, alchemy, sasquatch, native lore, and of course meaningful interactions and conections with my fellow human beings. really there are so many i'm sure we will have so much time to talk about it over the camp fire well into the night.

Music, Movies, and Books

i'm a lover of all sounds, but the most amazing time i had with music happened in jan 2012 at a beach in the philippines. myself and my partner dana and to swiss we met spent the night with a group of local teens sing songs back and forth for each other under the stars till well into the night. our voices were not the best but it had such an impact, i dont think i will ever forget that night.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i think the most profound experience i have had was the first time i slept by myself outside far from any other human being deep in the forest. it was a scary in so many ways but i left with a deep understanding that the natural world is nothing to fear, that i am just another small part of the puzzle and i had fin ally returned home.

Teach, Learn, Share

i am really hoping to learn from the experience of the people i meet. i know with the free exchange of knowledge all of our lives will be enriched.
