We are Joelene and Damian Sciberras aged 30 and 38. We have been together 6 years and got married last year after an 18 month engagement.

Even though we are blessed with everything we have around us in the UK, we have reached a time in our lives where we want to see the world!

We are giving up our western lives for a life on the road, with one bag and little money but we are longing to learn, explore, share, give back and most of all truly appreciate our experiences travelling!

We have given up our lives in the UK for an indefinite backpacking trip around the world and would love to share our time with locals and learn about their lives in order to gain a more enriched travelling experience!

Update (Dec 2016): We have just travelled across Canada and America for the past 3 months, which was one of the best experiences of our lives; making friends with the most inspiring couchsurfing hosts and exploring the epic landscapes of North America!

Next, we are off to India and cannot wait to live in this incredible country!!

We have very different tastes! Joelene loves her rock/metal whereas Damian is into everything except that! We currently agree on The Prodigy, Rudimental and Kygo.
Damian is also a drummer and loves to jam and experiment with different sounds.

Damian: Scarface, Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory.
Joelene - Hot Rod, Super Troopers, 21 Jump Street, Leon, American History X, Dexter, Stranger Things.

Books ~
Damian: The Alchemist by Jonathon Livingston Seagull.
Joelene: avid reader of anything and everything! Particularly love autobiographies and psychological thrillers.

We have a passion for animals - trained and volunteered with Hearing Dogs for Deaf People so desperately missing spending time with furry friends!

A place to stay somewhere in the world whenever we settle for a while (and hopefully one day, a home we've built to share with others!)
