ABOUT ME

My name is Joel, I'm 21 years old and I live in a small seaside town.
I work in a Nursing home for the elderly and i really enjoy it there!
In my spare time i enjoy playing and writing music, playing video games, I love to read, i like exercising but I must admit I don't partake in it as much as i should! Watching movies is a great way to unwind! I also love to hang with friends whenever i can.

This is the first time i've been on couchsurfing so I have zero experience as of yet, however hopefully that'll all change in the future!

Any music where i can relate to the theme of a song.. But favourite bands include Dream Theater, David Bowie, Queen, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Elton John, Jacques Brel, just to name a few... The list would be endless otherwise!
Movies, again the list would be too big, but favourites include The Labyrinth, Taken, Crossroads, Limitless, Almost Famous, Ace Ventura, A Clockwork Orange, Caligula among others..
Books, anything by James Patterson, Iain Banks, James Frey or Mark Haddon.. But i'm not a fussy reader at all, i will read pretty much anything as long as the first few pages grasp hold of my imagination!
