ABOUT ME
23. male. student. born and bred in sunny ol' singapore. life's greatest education is on the road. and i am still learning. hopefully i wont stop learning, and more importantly one day i can impart a thing or two to fellow travel enthusiasts.
PHILOSOPHY
carpe diem. seize the day.
okay i just thought id milk the wireless of my uni to update my profile. please bear with the barren profile because the questions here are deeeep and it takes time to think of an answer that is couchsurf-worthy. so why carpe diem? Being 23 this year, i had to start uni and a new chapter of my life in a completely different environment from what i was brought up in. I uprooted myself to Melbourne for the next 5 years. And over here, I've got no one but myself and the friends that ive made along the way since my first day here. Got no parents or siblings to "dictate" what gives and what goes for me. and so I have taken the liberty to decide for myself that since I am going to be here for the next 5 years, why not make the best of it.the best out of every single day for the next 5 years. medical school is gonna be one helluva marathon, and i wanna be able to live my life that is worth telling to my kids someday. or to whoever who wants to listen for that matter. thus, i figured that carpe diem, seize the day, is the way to go for the next 5 years at least and hopefully even longer; that at the end of every day i can go to bed not regretting anything. sounds abit idealistic, i know, but i do try. so yep hope this gives u a better feel of what i am like. cheers :)
