ABOUT ME

I'm more of a star gazer than party goer, but love meeting people. Active in community groups and as a skint person I often enjoy skill exchanges. Been involved with Shamanic centre in Edinburgh in recent years and practice mindfulness with the Wild Geese sangha. I do reflexology in a nursing home with elderly people, and look after peoples pets in their home. I love nature but prefer to live in cities you can walk around as I dont drive.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In the past I stayed with people via Servas, which is similar to this, or Local Exchange Trading Schemes (LETS) where I got accomodation as part of a skill exchange. I cant have people to stay with me, but i've done loads of home swap holidays. If there is a spare bed to be found among you it would be great ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Standing on the equator, being among clouds and seeing a circular rainbow around the sun at 11 in Quito.
Returning to the Old Town in Edinburgh, the history and the atmosphere after going away.
Anywhere with a view high above ground level renders me speechless. Which is as much a relief for me as those around me.
