ABOUT ME
I am 20 year old dude from Northern California who likes to enjoy the finer things in life such as music, knowledge, nature, and good times. I like to be a bit wild at times and let loose, but I also can be serious and contemplative. Music is my first love and just about everything i do revolves around it!
PHILOSOPHY
I rock. Therefore, I am.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
So far I have just used CS to stay in NYC during my music auditions for the New School back in March. Ill admit im a n00b, but Im trying to get more involved!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Very new to CS. I have only used it so far to travel to a music audition in NYC. This is the WAY to travel. I hope to travel using CS more in the future!
Interests
Besides zombies, coffee, nunchucks, scooters, and gypsy tears; what really grabs my interest is MUSIC. I have a deep love for music that is indescribable - culturally, socially, physically, and, of course, acoustically it is just MAGNIFICENT. I also love many other things of artistic nature such as movies, painting, philosophy, and stand-up comedy (Joe Rogan, Doug Stanhope, Louie CK, Norm MacDonald). Also, outdoors stuff like running, hiking, and exploring.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies:
The Big Labowski, Black Orpheus, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Mulholland Drive, The Good Bad and Ugly, and American Psycho
Music:
Jazz, classical, avant grade, classic rock, afro beat, metal, post rock, and ambient. To name a few Joe Pass, Mars Volta, Galactic, Queen, Opeth, Pixies, Grateful Dead, Chick Corea, Bad Plus, John Zorn, Yes, Joy Division, Stravinsky, The Temptations, MC5, Rage Against the Machine, Julian Lage.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last summer, I went on an expedition of the South-east Balkans. One moment that struck me the most was the Greek island of Santorini. The island IS basically the crater rim of whats left of an exploded volcano. Arriving on the ferry is one of the most beautiful things ive ever seen: gigantic cliff walls going straight up 500 feet while the white, maze-like city sprawl of Fira dangling precariously off the edges. Quite out-of-this-world!
Teach, Learn, Share
I believe there is something to learn from everyone because we all have something to offer whether it is our views on life, our skills, or our positive influence.
As for me, all I can offer is who I am - whether that be my off topic rants, terrible cooking or free guitar lessons.
