Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Apart from often being ruinously expensive, staying in Hotels has a much more severe downside: Being isolated in the monotone appearance of an ever-same kind of Ibis hotel room, you miss the most important point of visiting another country: You are almost guaranteed to experience the country like the tourist agency wants it to be represented, not how it really is. Couchsurfing, for me, is an opportunity to get out more of my visits to foreign places.
