ABOUT ME

I am a 29-year-old freelance historical oboe player from Canada. I live in Montreal, have lived in Amsterdam, Ottawa, and Toronto, and love traveling, cooking and eating, learning and playing (oboe, cards, chess, etc).

兴趣

I love to learn new things. I am easily distracted and get "into" things easily, so manage to have short love affairs with things like ancient Greek, zen Buddhism, ambitions of being a concert producer or conductor, translation, meme theory... often the fads last only a few weeks but I often can think of little else during the time. My most consistent love is playing the oboe, and particularly playing 18-century music on period oboes. If you don't know, ask!

New Year's Eve on a bridge over the Amstel river in Amsterdam. The whole city explodes for an hour with fireworks going off in gardens and yards, in the street, on the canals, from city roofs.
