ABOUT ME

Hi Couchsurfing community! I'm a guy who's done a fair amount of traveling, but most of it has been pretty touristy or with large groups. After a recent trip, I was bitten by the travel bug (the metaphorical one, luckily), and I'm looking to do more solo-traveling on my own. I have a couple friends who have had good luck couchsurfing, and that convinced me to get involved!

Right now, I don't have a great hosting situation, but my hope is to get more involved with the community in general and I'm hoping to get chances to meet people as they visit the city. I have a good ticket connection at a few of the theatres in Minneapolis, so maybe I can help score tickets for that show you're trying to see. Maybe. :)

P.S. My profile says I often log in from New York because when I log in at work it gets routed through that office. As much as I wish that were the case sometimes, I'm actually in Minneapolis, MN.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experience with CouchSurfing is fairly limited at this point. I met a couple who was staying with a friend of mine, and it was very cool just to hang out and chat with them.

Interests

I like some stuff and also things. I'm geeky in that I like sci-fi/fantasy stuff and Joss Whedon. I also dig going to CONvergence and other geek-related conventions in the Midwest. I like hanging out, drinking wine, and watching movies. I also enjoy beer and do some homebrewing of my own.
