About Me
I call myself lucky that my parents teached me what travel is from the moment I was born. Wildcamping as a child instead of resorts is one of the great things they did.
When I grew up that translated into solo travel, a first trip to South east Asia made me fall in love with travel but I soon developed a preference for more off the beaten track destinations.
Once I started more countries it clicked for me: travel isn’t about the biggest waterfall, highest mountain or the most beautifull accomodations. It’s about the people in remote regions, the people that don’t have the chance to meet a lot of foreigners and the cultures that these people have preserved.
So thats why I like couchsurfing. Even if not staying with people the chance to meetup with people and talk to people that are willing to share their culture and life is unmatched and insanely valuable.
Lets meet up!
