Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Honestly I usually stay at hostels because I can meet all kinds of people and travelers but I think couch surfing can also be fun. Where I live in the states isn't really a tourist destination but you're welcome to stay with me if you'd like :) As a fellow traveler, I understand you and what you need, don't worry :)

Interests

There's not enough space to write everything down. I'm pretty much interested in every topic. Especially topics like Japan, super string theory, classical, acoustic and electric guitar playing, everything photography related, black holes, Stuff You Should Know, World War II, airplanes and aviation, trying crazy foods around the world, travel stories, 42, and everything..except most celebrities, certain politicians, and ok the rest of the politicians.

Music, Movies, and Books

Dream Theater of course, I have a pretty wide range of musical investigation. From Gregorian chants, to K-pop, to 1950s Yeye music, to Brazilian bossa nova, I'm still learning. I'm more interested in what you're listening to!

Movies, all the good ones :) Some classic black and whites and of course some foreign films.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to Chernobyl and not like some cheap tourist. I got the permissions from the Ukrainian government to actually go inside the compound, photograph around the place, interview a few scientists and engineers, and illegally flew my drone which nearly got me arrested. True story.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some cool photography tricks, some cool guitar chords and progressions, and how to fly from the states to Istanbul for free (if you're a USA citizen)
