À propos de moi

FULLY VACCINATED AGAINST COVID-19

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to see as much of the world as a middle-class guy from the Detroit burbs can before he dies.

ABOUT ME

I'm pretty uncomplicated.
Good friends +
good food +
good music =
good times.

I'm a delivery driver for Doordash, a Local Coordinator for exchange students, and a stand-up comic. I still coach/film High School sports in my home town as well (football, boys' & girls' basketball). I'm not a total party boy, but I know how and where to have fun.

I'm no rocket scientist, but I'm not even close to being the dullest tool in the shed, either. I always have a smile on my face and enjoy great times with friends new and old.

Every so often, I like to throw some stuff in the back of my truck and go on road trips to nowhere in particular (no set plans, just $ in my pocket, a Coleman stove, camping gear, and clothes). Exploring is good for the soul.

Yes, I can cook. Maybe if you ask real nice, I'll fix up some of my boneless grilled chicken, or some of my patented chili (this could lead to traditional Detroit Coney Dogs if you feel inclined).

(Non-smoking/non-drinking/straight-edged/100% clean and sober. Type 2 Diabetic)

As stated before, I'm also a stand-up comic, preparing for my first "feature". My trip to Scandinavia had me performing at open mic shows in Reykjavik, Stockholm, and Gothenburg. That was an adventure in and of itself. Some people go golfing on their vacation. I like to seek out the stage time. Making people laugh is great for connections.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm not in any position to host at this juncture in my life. However, I'm more than willing to show visitors to the Detroit area where all the good stuff is. Despite what you may have heard, this area has much to offer visitors. The music and entertainment scene around here is second to none!

I helped organize the 2011 & 2012 Detroit Couch Crash (DCC3 & 4) and "held down the fort" at Headquarters when needed.

If you come to Detroit, feel free to message me for advice and assistance.
